PassPhotoKit (passphotokit.com) is an independent, privately operated biometric photo preparation utility. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), His Majesty's Passport Office (HMPO), VFS Global, or any domestic or foreign government agency.
1. Free Utility Provided "As-Is"
PassPhotoKit provides automated biometric cropping, background replacement, and 300-DPI print sheet formatting based on publicly published ICAO Doc 9303 and national passport agency specifications. While our 10-point biometric validator checks head height, eye level, head tilt, and lighting symmetry, final acceptance of any photograph rests solely with the reviewing consular or passport official.
2. User Responsibility Before Submission or Printing
- Ensure your source photo was taken within the last 6 months and accurately reflects your current appearance.
- Do not wear eyeglasses, uniforms, hats, or head coverings (unless worn daily for religious or documented medical reasons).
- When printing a 4×6" sheet at a retail pharmacy (such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, or Boots), verify that "Auto-Crop / Borderless Zoom" is disabled so the printed millimeter dimensions remain exact.
3. Limitation of Liability
Because PassPhotoKit is provided 100% free of charge and operates entirely on your local device, PassPhotoKit and its creators shall not be liable for any application delays, filing fees, printing costs, or travel disruptions resulting from a rejected photograph.
